Simple specialized sites
« on: November 11, 2010, 07:41 AM »
that may not be so well known,
but fascinating and useful

this one is about staplers

http://www.virtualstapler.com/

I could not find a thread for sites we like and that are not well known.
If it exists, please move this post to it.

Yes, I thought of that one, but I was looking more for content rather then design.

I almost put it in that thread, but I'm thinking for it to be about sites with software or any hard goods that we come across and find very interesting and some may not know they are here on the net.

would a site like http://www.guitar-museum.com/ qualify, or will you like the sites to be about more seldom, almost obscure subjects?

I really like the stapler one. Good find!

I like the word "obscure"(should be in the title maybe).
The nature of the subject is not as important as finding a site that is devoted to things we didn't think would be on the net.

Great idea. I think it would be the section I went to first.
