Autohotkey not responding correctly
« on: October 29, 2010, 08:47:39 AM »
Hi im trying to learn myself AUTOHOTKEY but im stuck on the first bit from LIFEHACKER.
download the prog and install it "After you've done that, it's time to create your first AutoHotKey script. Find a folder where you'd like to keep your script, right-click and select "New" -> "AutoHotKey Script." Name your file whatever you like." Ive done that now ive named the file test.ahk ive opened the file and copied exactly into the file, now you open notepad type in the code "tfi" in this case, and this is what you get:-

:oc:tfi::Thank you for your interest
Thank you for your interest

thats what i should get but i don't i get this:-

tThank you for your interes
tThank yofor your interest
tThank yofor your interest
tThank you for ur interesto

Thats just 4 of the umpteen ive had.

please could you help me Ron Edmonds

For those that did not not no you cant have texter running at the same time as you run autohotkey for future use
