simple quick question
« on: October 28, 2010, 06:52 PM »
How to exclude some file extensions? OR How to only include some?

Yeah,I found that Search Folders can do that one by one...

10 dictionaries! Then I have to copy/paste 10 times!

Please tell me how to be lazy!Thx!

As you say you can edit the Search Folders to exclude and include certain extensions.

If you want to do it globally, you can edit the Scoring Patterns to penalize the scores of some extensions and increase the scores of others.  It might be an interesting idea to provide a global list of allowed/rejected extensions.

I don't understand the 10 dictionaries comment -- can you elaborate?

thank you.mouser!

I want to speed FARR, so I edit 10 entry/10 dictionaries in the Search Folders.

If I just edit the Patterns Soring, FARR is still searching All file extensions.
Right?If I do that,FARR will speed up?
