I needed a quick way to make a window ontop/not ontop. This utility allows you to double click the middle mouse button to set a window ontop/not ontop. If you do not have a middle mouse button you can hold the SHIFT key and double left click on a window to do the same. FREE

What is the app actually doing and why does it need to be on top? As for the shift key and clicking on a window is it the window of the app or just anywhere?

I copy and paste text into notepad (and other apps) a lot. It is easier to do if notepad is always ontop rather than using Alt+Tab all the time to switch between apps. This way, I can double middle click on the notepad window and it will always stay ontop until I do it again. The double click can be anywhere on the window.

How about a notepad with the option to have it on or off / top?

Try this

Yes, I could make that also. I do not just use it for notepad. That was just an example. I use it for a lot of other windows also. :-)

That MB app is also a pain and really stuffs everything up.

I am curious were you asking for an app or showing a suggestion

Was not asking for an app, just showing a suggestion. I can remake the MB app to allow you to make your own hotkey if you would like. As I said, I just made this for myself and thought I would share so I didn't add much to it.
