Photo menu. Interactive photo.
I would find the script or the software for :
1) I take with my camera a photo. I want to incrust a link in some parts of this photo (so I suppose I have to decompose the original photo in parts and collage to form one after). Then ; in the parts wanted I have to associate a link like I do in my word 2002 from Microsoft .
2)Additionally i would like a help describing the aim of that link when I pass the mouse over that area.
3) perhaps another program to word better. It's not the first time I use linking over a word document to launch applications, documents, web links, etc.
So
The difficult part for me is find a program to fragment the image, associate every part a link, and integrate after in the adecuate way.
It's possible, and how ?
Best Regards

You mean like an HTML Image Map? There are some web based ones (like this: http://www.image-maps.com/) but I've generally done it by hand...

Is there a reason you can't have an html file locally? ie on your desktop? It'd still run through your browser, just be a local file.

not quite what you're looking for, but a rough hack would be to put your image behind a table containing your links (create the table, then insert your image over the top. Format the image layout as behind the text, remove any borders on your table, etc)
With a bit of fiddling with the formatting and layout you could get the links in the right places (you might even be able to get transparent text...)
It would give you the functionality you're looking for, but it won't be as pretty as a HTML image map

my bad, I missed the part about 'outside of word'
how many items are in that grid?
I count 80, but the screenshot is cutoff...
and how many of these all up?
and how often do you change/edit the links?

and how many of these all up? I supposed your refer are functioning : all. I don't change or edit those links for a long long time. And never move the word archive from his original position. The file occupied several word pages and compile many printed forms. We can make any proof you like with 24 elements.

OK, now I'm confused... are you looking for a standalone tool that will provide you with launcher like functionality, or for something that is based in Word (or your preferred alternative)? and how many links all up (I'm extrapolating a few hundred from what you've said so far)?

I prefer a independent program, not word. With word I think there is no problem at all.
My option menu with word is not in relation with the image menu i propose.
With 24 pieces is enough

With word I prefer a headache. I have to addapt any pieces and word 2002 is not very easy for this purpose. Perhaps better coreldraw. Or perhaps I need a program to reduce the size of the photos to adapt more easy to the word table cells.

Ouwwwww There is not necessary the table. With Xnview i reduced the size of the picture.
And drag and drop directly in word one by side of another. It's fast and after we can put hyperlinks

if you're doing it in word there is no requirement to chop up the image, simply send it to the rear, ie behind the table
you can resize it to fit using the handles

I don't understand. I supposed I have to create the table and linking cells and put the image over. But don't work.
What do you mean with behind the table to get the purpose ?
Best Regards.

create your table - the example only uses text (no hyperlinks) insert your image format the image - you can get here from the context menu (FORMAT PICTURE...), or from the menu bar (FORMAT | PICTURE) note the layout is BEHIND the text the finished item - I have changed the font colour to white so you can see the text. You can do this on a per cell (per character even) basis if you want, or you could use a 'transparent' colour so you only see the mouse overs. Tables are both a blessing and a curse - they offer you a lot of flexibility, however they can be fiendishly painful to set up if your using them to put text in particular places
