Sprocket Rocket: Very cool flash physics game
« on: May 31, 2010, 10:18 AM »
Here's a physics game that should appeal to the tool-makers among you.  You control this round little ship and have to create custom tools to attach to it in order to solve puzzles.  What's special is how open-ended the tools are -- you create tools basically by drawing them out.  I'm not sure i've seen this done quite so well before.

Reminds me a bit of Robot Odyssey.

I beat the game.

I do have a few kvetches.
Spoiler
1. It seemed to me that you could beat almost every puzzle with a flat plank, a barb on the end and set to torque.
2. The ending was very unsatisfying. You would think they could come up with something more fun for the final puzzle than loading boxes into a ship.

Overall, it was fun but not very challenging.

Cute game, but I'm not a fan on the intellectual property propaganda of it...

But at least it's copyrighted propaganda so you don't need to worry about too many other people using it... :P
