I have a 'free' copy of Paragon and it never refuses to start my weekly scheduled task - unlike Acronis which sometimes won't!

I've never tried restoring with it though...

Mine says version 10 Compact? Got it Through Gizmo's site...

Also noticed a cmd window showing for 2 secs before Backup and have seen the word 'failure'?

Why are there 3 files in the Archive?
