1.5.5 Source

(1/1)

Zolon:
Couple of questions:

1. I read that the code base was changed to C#, is this still the case?
2. Will the source for 1.5.5 and later be available to the general public?

I want to take a look into the code and see about adapting this to a touch screen system.

Thanks

Yes the code is in C# (C-Sharp)

Because we found so many instances of people charging for VIP's code, with little or no modification, all approvals for code release go through Markham....
Please understand this is a 2 fold purpose.
1.) To protect Eric Wong's Legacy
2.) Markham has made so many changes to teh original code, that little of Eric Wong's original code remains in what is now Circle Dock.

I understand your suggestion, and I find it to be an agree-able one, especially with the latest touch screen advancements, and the fact that many folks are investing in touch screen or buying all-in-one systems with TS.

Ultimately I leave the decision to Markham at this time

This has already been done and Circle Dock is already compatible with touch screens. The addition of the "Toggle Button" by "DrWicked" completed this and I understand that Circle Dock is in use in touch screen kiosks in the US. Users of Tablet PCs can use and tailor the program to their needs using the I/O paradigms provided by that platform.

The source code is currently not available.
