Hi folks,

I kept trying gaining the live feed from Radio Nile 104.2 FM settled in Egypt but despite the fact I'm pretty seasoned at this using tools such as URL Snooper or Media player connectivity add-on through Mozilla Firefox, I can't dig the live feed out here so I thought somebody with more knowledge about how to get url feeds could give it a shot...? The url copied from the address line exactly on the place where it starts playing is
http://www.nilefmonline.com/#listen
wait a moment it takes a little while til it gets loaded starting to play.
Thanks for all advances.

The url i get from urlsnooper is: rtmp://flash140.netromedia.net/NileFMAudioFlash

Now as for downloading rtmp content, i'm not sure.  There are some threads on it on the forum though, see here: https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?action=search2;search=rtmp

Hi,

thanks a lot for getting back to me that soon.

The fact is that I also sniffed this url with rtmp protocol but the primary goal was trying to find a better http, mms or rtsp protocol which can be inserted into an external player putting it into the library e.g. Winmedia Player or in my case Screamer-radio. But it seems this radio station has only rtmp protocol and not others. When I set "show all" I sniffed some links with .asx at the end which looked promissing but this was erroneous too so I'm clueless.

There are some links with ip address so I tried combining the first half of the one with IP addie with the other one with .asx at the end etc. no success - I have to stress that this method of combining helped in about 10 cases, but not here though.

There aren not many stations in Egypt so I'm really sad about this one that I can't sort it among other radios. :-) but thanks again for the efford.
