« on: December 22, 2009, 11:33 AM »
Google chrome complains that donationcoder does not have a valid https certificate, see attachment. Is it only me?

sounds like you've got this ssl setting enabled (see screengrab).

if so, just disable the "Use SSL 2.0" and you should be okay.

I checked, and I have that disabled already.

But as long as it's only me, and donationcoder isn't hacked or anything, I can deal w/ the problem.

Don't worry, it's a normal error. DonationCoder uses a self-signed certificate for the site, and thus any browser will throw an error, since the certificate provider is not stored in the browser list of trusted providers. Just add an exception for it in Chrome and everything should be fine.

I think Gothi[c] (DC server admin) explained the site use of the certificate *somewhere* in the forum, but I can't find the post.

Doesn't show up in Chrome-Linux. That's good.
