Wow. You can spend hours at this site and still not see everything. Weird stuff, unique stuff, comedy stuff, amazing stuff. Did I mention there is stuff? No I am not affiliated with the site, no I don't own the shop, and no I am not getting any kind of kickback, I just fell in love with this hilarious and unique shop. Check it out and see what you think. http://www.mcphee.com/shop/

if someone is willing to do a detailed pictorial review of what they get, i think we should all chip in and send the person enough to buy the Jumbo Mystery Box on that site.. looks like it would be about $50. only US residents though since i think international shipping might just be too high.

I bought Jumbo Handlebar Mustaches for stocking stuffers for my 3 kids. They have this thing about "Glorious mustaches and beards, and have been making me grow mine out. Its driving me mad. I also bought an "I Love You" toast stamper and I love You Egg Shaper for my wife's stocking, it will tickle her to no end. Almost bought the V for Vendetta mask, I have been wanting one of those. I will chip in to whomever wants a Jumbo Mystery Box, or you guys can Paypal me $50 and I will buy it and write a detailed review of everything in it. There is also the Jumbo Colossal Mystery Box, but it is $120 + Shipping. Enough people donate and I will write a review on it, then part it out to the donors on a first come first served basis.

It's ON. Lets do this. There is supposedly $125 of stuff in the Jumbo Mystery Box. Should be quite a feat! I will part the box out to everyone who donates, mouser donated first so gets first pick!

Wow, that was fast. Still accepting donations? I remember the old Archee McPhee catalogs (paper!). Funny to rediscover these guys and see they're still going strong. Novelty never dies, right? - Oshyan

You can spend hours at this site and still not see everything. I went through the entire catalog. I clicked on everything that looked the least bit interesting (or if I just had to see what it was!). It probably took a little over an hour. They definitely have a lot of weird and useless stuff. Looks like a place with lots of fun stuff, though it doesn't really fit my sense of humor/taste. I'm awaiting the unveiling of the mystery box. (c:

I have the box here, but yesterday was Xmas Eve, today is Xmas, tomorrow I am out of town until the 28th. I will start it on the 28th. The box is BIG, and very heavy. The stuff that I got for my kids from Archie McPhee went over very well as stocking stuffers. Can't wait to see what is in there! Now, off to my in-laws for Xmas dinner.

Glad to see you found the place. I lived up the street for a few years in the 90's and it was always my first stop after the paycheck was cashed. I've bought many a valentine's day gift for my girlfriend (now my wife!) there. Can't wait to see the box!

Rather than post a a ton of photos in the thread, I created a small gallery of the box's contents. http://www.y0himba.net/box If you would like a detailed review of an item, including pictures of your chosen item being used, list it in this thread. This will, of course, require me to open said item. Overall the stuff in the box is unique, and great for party gifts, but I wasn't really wowed or impressed. I await your opinions also. I will dole out the loot in order of donations received, amount each person gets is based on the donation amount. *Mouser was first so gets first pick of the booty. (2nd largest pick of the booty) *4wd second pick (3rd largest amount of booty) *ljbirns third pick (4th largest amount of booty) *cranioscopal fourth pick (YARR! largest pick of the booty) Thank you for your donations!

y0himba, you've taken quite a bit of trouble to entertain us with this, so thank you!
I didn't realize that a 'donation' resulted in booty, I was just in for the fun of it. Anyone living in the U.S.A. (to keep things simple for y0himba) is welcome to my share if y0himba doesn't mind that -- first one to ask gets to pick after Mouser, 4wd and ljbirns
