Feature Req: quote only selected text?

Use quick reply on topic display: show, off by default.
That allows me to quote part of a line.

Quoting was erratic when I had it set to "don't show at all",  or "show, on by default" .

I looked in preferences and didn't see it, prolly cuz it wasn't in the check box list. Now I have it!  Thanks. :)
