Left 4 Dead for TRADE
« on: November 28, 2009, 12:03 PM »
Instead of buying a single license of L4D I am thinking of buying the 4-pack that they have on sale and trading 2 of the licenses for other games. Who has Steam games they would gift me if I gift you a copy of L4D GOTY??

I'm interested.

Just to clarify: you are talking about the original L4D and not the new Left 4 Dead 2? And you are planning to take advantage of the 75% off currently on offer at Steam.

I don't think that I have any games for gifting at the moment (to be honest forgetten how the system works) but at worst I'd PayPal you the reduced cost of a copy of L4D, at best something else you want might come up in the 5 day sale?

Essentially I am open to suggestions!

Yeah, that's it. It's the first game with all the updates included. The Game of the Year Edition.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/500/

You can either purchase one license for $7.50 or four licenses for $22.49. I thought I could get the 4-pack and then trade for other games as people often, as I do myself, purchase whole collections after they have purchased the base game and then have spare licenses sitting around that they could trade me for something they don't have.

Well buying a 4 pack and splitting it up saves $2 each so I'm all for that!

I gave away my left over copies of HL2 and HL2:Episode 1 here on DC earlier in the year, so have nothing spare at the moment.

It's getting late here and I am going to bed soon. Leaving on business travel for a week. I don't have time to wait to the last minute on this, so I am just going to buy one copy at $7.49.
