IDEA : sleep on click, wakeup with Esc
« on: November 18, 2009, 05:56 AM »
I've tried looking through the forum with search for "sleep" but there are really too many references !

What I'd like : to put my PC to sleep with a click on a gui button and then be able to wake it up with the Esc key and ONLY with the Esc key.

Why ? : because with other progs you wake up the PC by moving the mouse -
this is no good for me because either my companion inadvertently moves the mouse when she's on the phone or whatever, or it's the cat that jumps up on the desk and moves the mouse !!!  ;D

Anyone like to have a try please ?

It's OK - I've done it meself... except that I can't stop the mouse action waking it up ...???

I can't find a AHK routine which avoids that call - any help please ?
