No adapter windows 7 64bit
« on: November 12, 2009, 09:14 AM »
Hi!
Im using the latest URL Snooper (v2.25.01) and Winpcap 4.1.1 in windows 7 64bit.... my adapter is a Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E but url snooper cant find the network adapter.... i tried to give the program and winpcap administrator privileges and compatibility with (vista sp1 sp2) and xp (sp1 sp2 sp3) and update the adapter drivers to the last version, but still not work, also i try desactivating/activating the windows 7 UAC with the same result....

Extra info Cain (that uses winpcap) are able to detect my network adapter, (see image)

i hope someone have an idea to solve this.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

Hi Sdar, this sounds like almost the same problem as described here:
https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=20611.0
https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=20620.0

but are you saying that with the same version of winpcap, these other programs work and see the adapter?  that is really strange.

I tried with winPcap 4.1 Beta 3 and beta 5 ... still dont work... :S

Dont worry, i wait till winpcap release a new version more compatible with 7.... i tried other programs... and only cain is able to sniff with my network adapter, very strange.
