Bat question
« on: January 07, 2006, 02:20 PM »
I have 2 IMAP email accounts set up in The Bat that I want to delete. It has let me delete one but not the other one. The account in question has a line drawn under the name account name and I cannot do anything whatsoever at all for example connect to the server. I have tried removing the The Bat programme and making sure I have deleted all the files in uninstallation but still this account reappears when I reinstall the account.

Anyone any ideas?

Helen

The Bat! does not keep mail account files in its program files folder by default. I think the default location is somewhere under the My Documents heirarchy.

Check your options/preferences to see where mail is stored on your PC (there's like four choices it gives you) and then delete the account from Explorer after you uninstall The Bat!.
