sending mails to contacts with Outlook

Hello to everybody!

First of all thanks to Mouser and all the other guys that have developed FARR and have brought fantastic new uses!

I'm using it a lot, but what could help me a lot would be the possibility to send mail to the contacts I saved in Outlook (for example: I would like to write "email John hello" instead of "email [email protected] hello"

is there a way to do that? I couldn't find any help in the forum...

mouser:
not possible now, but it would be a really nice plugin idea.

Whilst it's not what you wanted I find it useful to have a couple of frequent email recipients set up on hotkeys. One of mousers recent video tutorials (any more of these coming ?) explains how to do this - this is shown from 4:50mins in the video. That way, after hitting the hotkey, you only need to type a suitable subject and hit return. Very handy for a few recipients.

or I could as well create different aliases for automatically send mails to different addresses... I will try it out!

are there any Outlook command lines that I could integrate in FARR?

and by the way, those videos are really helpful for a newbie like me, nice job!

mouser:
you could actually create one alias based on the email alias that comes with farr, and have a list of results in the alias that would give you the choice of who to send the email to.

and then to get that last step that would let you type the partial name of the person to email in order to filter the result to just that person, you would use the "Result Filter for RegEx" advanced option in the alias.  that should be set to the part of the regex pattern that should be matched against the persons email address in the result list.
