Circle Dock v0.9.2.6 is an unofficial updated version of Eric Wong's 0.9.2 Alpha 8 version available on the Circle Dock website. As Eric has been missing from this board for many months and has not released any new versions in nearly a year, this release corrects many of the issues raised in the interim and also introduces some new features. For further details of what's in this version, please read this message and this message.

The download link is at the foot of this post.

The Zip file contains a full setup program which will install Circle Dock onto your PC.

If you are an existing user, simply install into your current Circle Dock folder, making sure that Circle Dock is NOT running when you install the new version or the installation process will fail.

If you are a new user, just install the program in the normal way. However, this release does not contain any program or folder icons - with the exception of its default folder icon. There are many icon collection on the Internet including those for RocketDock which work admirably with Circle Dock.

Just a small suggestion: You're linking to the specific version on the server. It's more conventional to always link to the same place, so that if people see a post from an older release and use the download link on that thread, they still get the latest version Wink

Hi

Thanks for the great work.

I just wanted to signal a bug with the centre button which does not show the "start" menu anymore while it did on previous version. Allowing user to select what they want to show via this button could be a great improvement.

Hi yiafar, I have the same problem and I sent pm to Markam for solution some day ago. I have searched for the problem and in Windows Vista Event Visualization I found this:
"ThreadException:
  An application error occurred. Please contact the adminstrator with the following information:
   Unable to load file or o assembly 'GlobalMouseKeyboardHook, Version=1.0.3560.33520, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of relative dipendencies. Attempt to load a program with a format not corrected."

I have searched in google and I have discovered this is probably a 32bit-64bit problem. Maybe this CD is compiled in 32bit and if you use in 64bit windows when CD want to load GlobalMouseKeyboardHook.dll for 64bit It found 32bit assembly causing "format not corrected" exception and so the popup "Current Domain Unhandled Exception".
What windows you have?
If the problem is 64bit Markham solve this recompiling CD in 64bit.
I have Vista 64bit, in the next few days I will try windows seven 64bit to verify my hypothesis.
I hope Markham reply with a simple solution.

Is there a possibility to minimize a file or folder at Circe Dock?
How can Circle Dock start up with Windows 7 64 bit?
