Plarker now has a 'places in the area' feature where anytime you view a marker bubble it will tell you how many places are in the area - looks at a 100 yard radius.  Logged in users will have the places limited to theirs and there friends places.  This feature handles the issue where friends mark the same place.

To show support for veign's project, and because i think it's such a cool idea, I've added a forum profile field for people to put in their plarker username.  If a user has set a plarker username it will show as a little icon and link under their name in posts (like mine does over there to the left).

Thanx mouser!!!.

Working on a new mobile version of the website and after that I may work on a new group/category feature so users can join groups - will be thinking about how a DC group may work.

Since a bug was found (Thanx Carol!) I pushed an update sooner than I had wanted.  This update contains a new feature 'Add to My Places' where you can easily add any places, from another users map, to your list of places.
