1. Newsletter Editorial

Well, September is almost over and it looks like this edition of the newsletter is going to make it onto the airwaves and into the imaginary newsstands just in time to avoid any major embarrassment.  It's actually been over 5 weeks since the last newsletter  -- way too long.  So this newsletter is packed to the gills with new interesting posts and website discoveries.  So without further ado let's get to it. --mouser


2. Your Participation Requested

We welcome everyone's participation on the forum, no matter what your level of computer knowledge or how long you've been a DC member. If you're still waiting to make your first post, see the links below for some good places to jump in.

5. General Software Discussion

Almost half the posts on the forum fall into the category of general software discussions, questions, recommendations, etc. This is one of the most active sections of the DC forum and a great resource if you're trying to solve a software or hardware related problem. We get so much traffic on this board that we've split the recent content into to sections in the newsletter - general software and specific software discussions.

The Coding Snacks Section is where people can request small utilities to be coded while they wait.  Since the last newsletter we've had a *TON* of new requests that have been filled -- several forum members are on fire lately!  And there have been some really cool new tools developed.

8. Mouser's Applications

I hope you'll allow me to include in the newsletter some threads about my software.  There have been some really cool postings by DC forum members about new plugins and alias packs.  And if you are a plugin author please don't miss the new wiki that we set up which will hopefully make it easier to discover plugins.  Plus I got some help from a forum member who collected all of the known plugins and alias packs and we put them up as one big zip file for those who really want to jump right into FARR with both feet.
