mouser, i have a question.. if i want to post a picture already in the forum but as a thumbnail, how do i go about it?

basically you just right click on the attached image, and youll see something like:

the forum always automatically makes a thumbnail of attached images, and that thumbnail url will be +1 of the attachment # for the fullsize pic, so:

--- ---https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1996.0;attach=17895;image
so those urls are actually image urls, so if you wanted to show that picture in another post you could do:

--- ---[img]https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1996.0;attach=17895;image[/img]

here it is in action:

I do use default theme and now the problem is that I want the thumbnail on the attachment, i.e. without any "attach" tags, and the thumbnail is in attachment section.

this almost always happens because the package installer only modifies the default theme; if you use another theme i think you have to make the modification manually, but it's really easy and the included readmes in the modification show you how.

I run a woodworking forum (www.festoolownersgroup.com).  Your inline attachment modification would be great for us.  Recently, I tried to install this, but received the following error:
1.     Execute Modification     ./Themes/default/Display.template.php     Test failed

How do I fix this to install the modification?

By the way, I'm testing the modification below, first with my avatar:
[attachthumb=#1][/attachthumb]

Next, with a tool picture:
[attachthumb=#2][/attachthumb]

Works well!
