Feature Request: Double click to open a folder
(1/1)
sri:
I have a lot of Folder type nodes that displays subfolders as submenus. I would like to be able to go to any folder when I double click on it (both in the dock as well as popup menu).
Currently the option available is Ctrl+Click (which for some reason doesn't work properly/always...I have to some times press Ctrl+click twice or thrice to trigger opening of the folder).
Double click is easier to do than Ctrl+click.

I want this too. When I configured a node to access each drive I want to be able to quickly find and then open a folder or file. It seems to me (as a total newby) that Ctrl-dbl-click is the default and seems to result in the folder appearing minimised on the taskbar. If I'm missing something, like a preference setting that'd do what I want already please tell me.
I'd like:
* left double-click opens any folder anywhere in the dir tree.
* right dbl-click opens a folder minimised and Launcher stays active for another choice.
I had a similar apps launcher on another OS which allowed that.
Thanks for this app - it could be very useful, not the least as a decent alternative to XP's very primitive filer.
Cheers

...and I also would like this a lot, with same options as quattrocchi. I often have to compare folders or shift things around, and for that I like to open all the folders in their own windows (which I then organise using GridMove!!!). At the moment I need to browse to each folder one by one, but being able to do what sri described would be an immense help.

Yes, this feature is a MUST if you are using with folders. I hope this will be added soon :)
