Has anyone tried Perfect Utilities ?

I saw recently (and now cannot remember where :-[) that the install version of Glary Utilities was now adware which "offers" to install ASK Toolbar. I honestly don't know for sure as I no longer use that app--all I'm saying is be careful!

1/ There is is "slim" build downloadable without the Ask adware
2/ There is also a portable version without this adware
3/ That's probably a small price to pay for having free software, the main question being here: is it worth it ?

Yes, we are fortunate to often have different installation choices. However, there are many software sites that link only to the standard install version which is the "loaded" version with all the toolbars and crapware included. Unfortunately, the average user is sometimes unaware and gets suckered by the opt-out trickery.
