- I *think* the misunderstanding started when someone said that OfficeTab doesn't work in 2002 and I could see quite clearly that it does work in XP - hence XP must be different from 2002. But as with everything wrong, the explanation is not all sound logic. My apology for the nonsense.

Looks like it's not freeware anymore.  Although I think you can keep using the old (v1.22) version.  The new version v4, is $25.

Darwin:
Funny that they're charging for this as I've never seen much point with Office 2007 because you can stick the switch windows button in the quick toolbar area... but then, I've gotten to hate any extraneous add-ins in Office - they just slow the applications down. A lot!

It would definitely be useful for earlier versions of Office, though.
