Free file hosting services - any thoughts on which are the best, most convenient, whatever?  Or, any links to reviews?

TIA...

Some good hosts :

-4shared
-Mihd.net
-ifile.net
-mediashare

are some of the good hosts.

If you're looking for document hosting (.doc/.xls/.pdf) then Scribd, Esnips, docstoc are some good options.

Check this Wikipedia article:

Looking for reviews? Try this one:

For file hosting I've heard good things about DropBox, MediaFire and FileFactory.
I've only used MediaFire but I can say it was a fairly painless signup process and making links to the files is pretty easy.

For file transfer I use YouSendIt and it works fairly well as a "send a big file" type of service.
Caveat: If you send something larger than 20MB, it nags the recipient to also sign up for a free account.

Thanks, folks!  I signed up with MediaFire for now.
