Just came in - we're always behind down in 'Darkest Africa' I'm planning to use this to make notes so I remember what to do first after a reinstall of OS - I used to put FARR in first, but now it's on another partition it's always available to navigate without my Docks on the 'bare bones' Desktop!

i'm using this quite often now, saving snippets from here and there. after having a number of notes, it's quite easy to keep track of them with the search and keyword function. however i was wondering if it is possible to add some additional formatting into the note itself such as making the title bold, able to insert bullet points, some font coloring, etc. thanks for this plugin.

I don't think it is possible at the moment. Your welcome.

i like that it's simple plain text -- keep hamnotes minimalistic, for simple and fast stuff -- leave the formatted text for the serious standalone note taking tools.

Not at the moment and I do not know if it is possible or not maybe mouser can tell me if it is possible to make keyboard shortcuts for them.

I've seen this plugin listed for awhile, but just got around to trying it today - awesome! When I'm teaching various workshops and need to keep a running list of questions/suggestions/bugs, this will be tremendously handy! I was looking for a way to edit an existing note though (I can see needing to do that frequently), w/o having to choose edit from the context menu. Is that possible? Is there another switch that I'm missing? Thanks!!

I have FARR 2.80.02 installed and I'm using the latest version of hamNotes. When I do hnote /k then try to scroll the list of keywords, I get an EAccessViolation error and FARR shuts down.

jpprater, without scrolling, if you just select an item on the displayed list, do you still get the error?

Only if I click the first entry in the list. If I click any other, there's no error. And if I click the second entry and scroll down, or scroll to any entry but the first (and when I say scroll I mean using the arrow keys), there's no error then either.

I know it's available from the context menu, but having to using a mouse seems to defeat the purpose of FARR. Was hoping I could type something to accomplish the same thing. Thanks

Ctrl+R brings up the context menu of any item, you can then use arrows to go to the menu item of your choice and hit enter
