Show us your LaunchBar Commander Screenshots
« on: June 14, 2009, 05:45 AM »
I'd love to see screenshots of how people have their LaunchBar Commander configured.

(i don't mean screenshots of the configuration tree -- I mean of your desktop with your LaunchBar).

Here's mine, pretty plain:

It's set to autoslide on right hand side of screen.

Here's mine:

Takes up much less space and holds a lot more than the Windows toolbar I used to have there.

it's fun to see people are configuring it in such different ways.

Actually, The crescent moon icon is for "Hibernate". The icon to the left of it is "Standby" & one to the right is, of course, "Shutdown". :)

This first one is my portable launcher that runs from my USB stick.  It includes only applications that are on the USB stick:

This other one is my work launcher, and includes applications on my work computer.  However, LBC is actually running from the USB.

One feature that I don't see many people using with LBC is the popup menu hotkey feature.  My menus are not docked anywhere.  If I need them, I use an Alt-(key) to popup the menu right under the mouse.  I absolutely adore this feature.  Actually, I do also keep it docked in the system tray as two tiny icons.  But I use the popup mostly.  I'm not a fan of things sliding out the sides of windows at all.

Mouser,
Lovely little program.
Is anyone still interested in screen shots?
Here is my simple  win 7 Home Premium Desktop.
Just a simple folder menu. Hot key to start.

How are you all getting it to sit *below* the windows taskbar?

If you look at the clock end of the image for the link below you'll see that it's actually sitting in front of the taskbar - which is double height.

here's mine.  It's docked to the bottom of the screen. It's uses two docks one on the bottom and one in the tray. (see attachment in previous post)

Still can't get it to do that. It always wants to sit on top of the taskbar no matter what.

cavetrob, can you elaborate a little bit more about what yours is doing and what you want it to do?
do you yours set to auto hide/autoslide? or always stay visible?
if its set to always stay visible it should NOT be on top of the taskbar.

can you show us a screenshot?

Sorry for the wait. See here: http://screencast.com/t/hCUWNq65vy

Note I left clicked the explorer folder in the taskbar and the folder list came up behind Launchbar Commander. I have LBC set fixed.

Here's a simple strip of launchbar commander combined with rocket dock. Beauty in simplicity.  :D

Since I have various docks on a 2-monitor setup, attached are shots of both screens to show relative positioning of various docks.  The LBC, of course, is displayed as the Greek-letter icons on the upper left side of the left monitor.  (At the bottom of left screen is Rocketdock, and at the bottom of the other one is Objectdock.)
