Frame rate problems

Hi, I am trying to make a flip book from a 5 second snippet of a instructional DVD.

The 5 second MPEG 2 movie only contains 175 frames, but the frame counter shows it to start at 0 but end at 62 million plus.

What am I doing wrong?

hmm, sounds like a bug reading in the movie file.. can you try converting the file to avi format and loading it?

Yes, it worked. Thank you. Any way of selecting which frame makes it to the flip book?
