Looking for: Scan and convert to PDF, but simple
(1/1)
Jibz:
I am trying to find a very very very (did I mention it has to be very?) easy to use application that will make it possible to scan pages, converting them to a PDF file, and send that by e-mail.
I know it's easy enough to do the steps one by one, but the thing is it has to be a "one-click, anybody can do it" kind of thing.
Any suggestions or experiences?

I havent tried this:
Scan2pdf - donationware - at http://www.koma-code.de/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=39&Itemid=82
-tsaint (June 03, 2008, 07:10 PM)
--- End quote ---
they have a portable version so might be easy to try out . .
Innuendo:
Here's the first one I came across on a Google search:

well I had reson to try this out myself tonight and it's far from single click and there's no options to email - but it looks good for creating multi-page PDFs using scanner or importing images. Very basic but works well at what it does (no resizing or cropping of images.)

This may work, or be a lot of work.
From makeuseof.com.

It looks interesting and for a scanner.
May have to convert whatever it outputs to pdf.
I haven't tried it yet.
