One of the important features of Screenshot Captor is that the thumbnail strip panel is fully compatible with the windows file explorer.

What that means is that you can right-click on an image and access the normal windows file context menu.

So if you want to be able to easily send images to ImageShack or similar services, the answer is to install a right-click context menu handler for these services and then use that from Screenshot Captor:

I wonder if any windows system coder pro can figure out how to make a commandline tool that can invoke a specific context menu extension trigger on a given file.. that would make any of these tools callable through the tool menu without right clicking (and without actually installing the system context menu dll?)

you add shup in the 'external tools' section and use it to upload to imageshack.

Configure shup

Call from the menu

ok i think maybe then it's time for me to make a kind of external tool package that users can share so they dont have to configure it manually.

shup is quite popular in the forums and comes with support to upload to several image hosting sites. i agree that there should be a wizard-like interface to tweak the "ScreenshotCaptorTools.ini" with some of the tools pre-configured.

http://reg.imageshack.us/en/winuploader.php

Rightload:
http://rightload.org/index.php/download.html

Screenshot Captor Options:
Post-Capture Options:
In "Commandline Tools to Run" check "Invoke this..."

For ImageShack Uploader:

C:\Program Files\Rightload\Rightload.exe "%file%"

I'm from Argentina and it would be nice a SC Spanish translation  tongue

Thank's!!

Edit:
If you don't want to run every time:

Configure External Tools...
Add...

Title:
ImageShack Uploader (or any)

Program:

For Opus users, uploading directly to Imageshack is very simple and doesn't require any additional tools.

Opus already has its own uploader built in and it can be configured to send the current screenshot:

Title: Imageshack
Program: "C\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopusrt.exe"
Working Dir: "C\Program Files\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\"
Parameters: /CMD Image FROM="%file%" UPLOAD=imageshack

This will, of course, use your current Opus settings for Imageshack and can upload the file to your registered account, and/or copy the url to the clipboard in a number of different formats.
