Hi

I want to set an alias that would look for search words(files) in folders that are not in "search folders" list. Is it possible?

mouser thanks, but I do not want to add anything to search folders since it creates additional levels of search time. So basically it is not possible without adding search folders?

I am trying to search python installation folder for certain scripts(.py) you know those folders there are alotof files in there so I definetely want this folder not to be part of search folder index in normal times.

when you add a modifier to a search directory, as described in the thread i referenced, you are telling farr NOT to search the folder by default, so it wont effect normal search times.  it will only search the directory when explicitly told to.
