Listen, please. Stop reading this post if you value your time in any way, because i've gotten sucked into these video reviews as well as the boardgamegeek website which i have
written about in the past.
Today i once again got sucked into the black hole of time dilation while learning about and reading reviews on board games. I don't even really enjoy playing games much but these damn reviews and learning about all the wonderful creativity and variety in these games is addictive..
But any, the main point of this post is to tell you about this one wonderful video review site called
The Dice Tower, and the top 100 ranked list of board games with accompanying video reviews. The guy who runs the site, Tom Vasel, has a cute daughter who normally sits with him as he does the reviews, and he does a great job of telling you why he likes the games. And his taste in games is a good match for me -- he doesn't go for the super complex games, and he is always looking for fun stuff, regardless of the genre. Great work Tom.
