I was using Blue Ice Litewith Firefox 2.x but because of the "no vertical scrollbar" with some themes when I upgraded to FF 3 I investigated some others. Right now Aeon 3.2 seems pretty good. My bookmarks toolbar is all folders except for one bookmarklet, so I like themes that don't use the default large yellow folder. I have 10 folders and I can't stand it when I get the '>>' on the rhs. With smaller folder icons I can fit all the folders on one line without making the FF window too big(I tried several of the bookmark toolbar "wrap" customizations but every one I tried hosed the FF scrollbar) I do Vistaglazz and Aeon seems to go pretty well with the Vista themes I use.

That looks kind of interesting. Can you change sizes of stuff like buttons or is that more complicated? (I have it on now and I'm just starting to mess with some of the presets)

I used to use little fox as well, but ever since I installed vimperator, I have no use for themes anymore: there is not much of FF left to be themed

According to the options menu on the any colour add-on you can this can be seen in the advanced tab of the options menu. However, I haven't tried it as yet although I've created my own themes using the colour selection and my own images from my hard drive. The creator of any colour also has a blog. Apparently he's also working on a similar add-on for Thunderbird.

Hmmmmmmm only bummer I noticed so far is it seems to hose all my favicons. On my other system I installed Minefield as well as this one. When I switch to Aeon 3.2 on the other system I still have my Favicons. On this system, even with AnyColor uninstalled, I have little blue dots. Seems to be no such thing as an automatic favicon refresher that works without visiting the site(at least not that I've found yet.) Only difference I can pinpoint between the 2 systems is I never installed AnyColor on the one where the favicons still work. edit: hmm looks like the bug is in Minefield. Firefox 3.1 beta 3 doesn't get this. edit: just wasted 3 hours to get favicons back. On one machine I'm ok but on the other for some unfathomable reason, I can no longer install FF 2 or it won't let me add any addon. Had to wipe everything out and put 3.1 beta 3 on as the only FF browser. I don't even want to figure out why!! What a hassle!

I always liked breeze, based on our own NonTropo's theme for Opera -- don't know if it's still maintained, though. Ought to fire up the Firefox more often.

For my desktops: Chromifox 2 which has since been replaced by Chromifox Extreme: https://addons.mozilla.or...en-US/firefox/addon/10674I'm amazed I like this since I'm not a big fan of web 2.0 powder blue themes. But this one is too easy on my aching eyes to hold that against it. For my laptops: Whitehart https://addons.mozilla.or...q=whitehart&cat=2%2C0The flatter and simpler a theme the better when staring for hours at a small screen under bad office lighting. For situations like that, simple 2D icons and a monochrome color scheme rule as far as I'm concerned.

Looks like it's just been updated in March but for FF 2.x You never know. Might work on FF 3 with Mr Tech For my Vista 32 bit I got Aero Diamond Final style that has very cool blue glass bead look to scrollbars. After that I hate to not at least have the browser scrollbars with some color to them. Breeze 2.0 does have a nice look though.

hmm the Chromifox extreme looks kind of nice but I can't stand having to reach up over the toolbar to get to the tab bar. To much like trying to write from right to left.

Just found Aero Silver Fox. I like the glassy blue scrollbar and the small icons for bookmark toolbar folders. Pretty neat.

Call me the curmudgeon. I hate themes. I want my workspace to fit together, not have different cues in all my various apps.
I wish developers would stop wasting time building support for themes, and instead concentrate on stability or productive features.

My favorite Theme I discovered on Firefox 2. Noia (eXtreme) I think the reason I stuck with this one for so long is because of the blue scroll bars.

You have to reach up over the toolbar to get to the tabs? I don't have to do that. Did you mean reach up over the tabs to get to the toolbar?

I never saw it before or since, but that's how it was. I didn't see any mechanism to drag & place it somewhere else either. Weird.

I'm getting download errors, and trying to install manually from a Softpedia download it won't even install. I think the package has problems.

I dunno'. I tried going back to FF 3.1 beta 3 and installing the last 3 or 4 versions of this theme and if they installed at all, they did the same thing. I give up.
