Hi,
Is there any way that the current date can be added automatically to the folder name?
(I suspect not, but as I'm not a programmer don't know unless I ask).
It's really useful software, even if this cannot be done.
Many thanks.

Hi, rogerrabbit, and welcome to the DonationCoder site.

Is there any way that the current date can be added automatically to the folder name?

Not currently, but I certainly could add the functionality.  Stay tuned.   cheesy

Hi,
I could thank you - you have made it very easy indeed to configure thanks to the additional help you have built in.
Works great!
I'll keep an eye out on SnapFiles, where I first found it, and if it's updated on there I will definitely be posting a 5 star review.
Thanks again - I'm really grateful.

and could you add a function that the text format can accept such like this:

----------begin------------
folder1
   subfolder1
   subfolder2
      subsubfolder2
   subfolder3
----------end------------

The blank character or the tab character

Hi, mandolin, and welcome to the DonationCoder site.  Let me give your request some thought.  You are aware you can create subfolders by using backslashes, right?  For example, to create your example above, you could use:

c:\folder1\subfolder1
c:\folder1\subfolder2\subsubfolder2
c:\folder1\subfolder3

I like mandolin's idea of supporting tabs to create subfolders.

I like mandolin's idea of supporting tabs to create subfolders.
Thanks.
I think , when I want to quickly build a tree folder structure from a text, the most efficient way is using the tabs(or blanks).
