Quicktime only available with iTunes

Apart from installing it via third party sites like FileHippo, is there any way to get Quicktime only from the apple site now? They seem to have removed all standalone links.

Can you still uninstall itunes after the install?
That should remove the extra services too.

Perhaps the aptly named QuickTime Alternative would be an option for you?

Some times the QTA doesn't work for some files.

Don't know why.

Just like Foxit doesn't work on all pdf files, so adobe reader is still needed, or a comparable.
