Nice little roundup on makeuse.com today about sites that let you swap books and discs with others.

Got any experience with these? size of community, how long between swaps, security of systems etc? It's really hard to trust these things I find, plus the hassle of packing the things have put me off from using them.

I've used Book Mooch and Swaptree for a few book titles. My library is mostly geology, photography, and software books. Not a lot of takers on the geology items! Still, the sites work well enough. There are a few music titles I've never been able to locate on the Web. There may be a chance to get them here. Thanks for reminding me.
