single sata drive install xp first and then vista but have to change bios

topcattroy: AHCI is only relevant for SATA drives, which is why your new setup works with XP on the IDE drive :) - if you had integrated chipset drivers with nLite, you'd be able to install XP to the sata drive in AHCI mode.

fodder: i did try and intagrate it but for some reason it just came up blue screen error.
I might try it again next weekend. It seemed to be an audio driver that was messing it up.
