To twist it around another way, at many fairs and seaside resorts it is considered haute cuisine to cook things in beer. So why not just crack open a beer and smear it all over yourself?
( Edit: Deozaan it didn't occur to me until later this reads like I am suggesting you personally should slather beer upon your person. I meant fad follower people generally. )
