you obviously have a different history to me.
Was only around the age of 30 that I started getting closer to my parents. And I know lots like me, guess that's why I found the "article" amusing.

Ah. Got it.
I haven't lived in the same country (or time zone) since early 1996. So, it makes it a bit hard to keep in touch. But compared to most people I know, I still have a better relationship with my parents. I kind of take that for granted sometimes.
