Was googling for a free mailalert program when I found this nice little program "
3D Mail Effects" there is some extras for it
here. It supports webmail as well, but sadly not google web mail, unfortunately the program is not under development any more. The webmail part using some scripting language so maybe some one here can write support for google web mail as well.
