Hello elma32 , and welcome to Donationcoder.com and the CircleDock forums :)

During this alpha Build, a Circle is all we can work with.

Although I am sure that the programmer is working on other shapes/configurations.

As is evident by the spiral; from a previous alpha build, you can refer to the visuals here:
http://circledock.wikidot.com/start

Now you will have to scroll down in the page a bit, but there is images and a small video demonstrating the Spiral.
Mr. Wong (aka. VideoInPicture), intend to have this "Spiral" returned to CircleDock in future releases.

There has also been a lot of great suggestions for shape configuratios, and more is always welcome.

So if you have any suggestions, feel free to leave them her at the forum.
