It appears I am going with the draw a "cookie" version of our family in Photoshop, rounded off with construction paper frames. It's thoughtful and I can pull it off without hurting anyone's ears.

After all this it'd be great to see what you come up with  (I am at this point printing out my persimmon recipe and growing notes: I love my Canon MP610 Auto-Duplexing!  )
