How do you place folders and files onto the dock?
« on: December 16, 2008, 03:53 PM »
Silly question maybe, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

I tried to drag and drop a file and a folder with no luck.

Hang in there bodaggit -- i know the reply is slow and comming, but the author (VideoInPicture) can be busy, just give him a bit of time.  Or maybe one of the other users can help.

I know it can seem agaonizingly slow getting a response.. but just hang in there, it will come!

I wasn't awaiting a response from the Author.
I was hoping someone on these forums was
using the program also...

When I drag a folder to the "circle", it just moves
it along the desktop, completely ignoring the "circle".

I don't understand "Right-Click to the folder"...?

What is the "kiosk version"?

EDIT:
I think I may have figured out my problem.?

Is this program for Vista only?

Acutally, it's supposed to work on XP as well, if you have the full .NET Framework 3.xx installed. I don't think there's active support for that, though.

some questions...
1 - Your CD have a background full transparent?
2 - when you place icons over CD ( drag-n-drop ), do you move it to the center or to the background?
3 - Have you visited http://circledock.wikidot.com ? read more about kiosk version of CircleDock.
4 - How about reinstall CD? Just delete the folter where CD was placed.
5 - Have you updated your .Net Frameworks?
6 - You CD folder is read-only?

:::> You can drag-n-drop using right-click or left-click, is the same result.
