It is always priced at $24.95. I bought it in November, 2007 exactly at this price. Since then, I have checked the website over 100 times. Every time, I have seen it being offered at this price. Christmas or no Christmas, you will get it at $24.95 all the year round. It's the best download manager, though.

<sigh>  I got suckered again     by a dishonest discount advert.

It's a good download manager, but I wish it would work with proxy.pac proxies.  Some people think ReGet is the best, but I haven't tried that.

Internet Download Manager is the best. It downloads at a bit more speed than my internet connection would allow.

I used reget, i remember it was one of the best i tested.

I bought IDM - that was several years ago, and I have never had to pay for an upgrade or anything, and it has always worked flawlessly - including with chrome as soon as it was out, near enough.
