how do you count code lines?

Yow! I'm getting a headache trying to fix a few sloopy lines of code for my website. How do you count lines? Is there a simple program that finds, say... line 411? Thanks all Rog

Lots of Text Editors can display line numbers. Try PSPad which is excellent and free.
