Years on awards?

should we put the current Year on the award images? ie not simply "Best Text Editor" but "Best Text Editor - 2005" etc.
in anticipation that the choices may change over time.

Probably not a bad idea.  You never know when something better will show up.

Definitely!  It gives the software companies something to strive for year after year, if nothing else.  ;)

I like the idea of a "year" award, but allow DCC the right to re-view the class when new versions are released. Some apps can quickly leapfrog others between versions. Also, there's been a terrible trend going around where one version is great; and the next just blows, followed by a version that fixes the previous bomb.
