Error Inserting Free License Key

Error: Bad License Key syntax.  Error in License Key text syntax -- please check that you copied+pasted the entire license key beginning with *r.

I have tried 3-4 sites that generate the key and each time I get the error above when inserting into Screen Captor 2.42.01. And yes I am copying the whole string.

Which sites have you used to generate the key? Only this page here on DC can generate the correct key for the programs on the site.
Did you try that one?

I have tried the following sites:
Generate license key for Argus Panoptes
Generate license key for Clipboard Help+Spell
Generate license key for Desktop Coral
Generate license key for Drag+Drop Robot
Generate license key for LineByter

I tried your link and used "Argus Panoptes" and I still get the error.

I also tried the help file and it did not help - thanks

the solution is to Generate a license key for Screenshot Captor

Maybe a more detailed error message?

ex: "Please make sure you are giving a key for " <program name here> "."
