But one of the biggest joys of the season is Turkey Hill's eggnog ice cream on top of hot apple pie!

Oh April!  :-* :-* :-*

(On slightly warm homemade pumpkin pie as well!)

that recipe i posted is actually quite close to the base recipe for ice cream, add cream and spices and that might be a great eggnogg ice cream - i can only imagine that a scoop of that with some hot espresso poured on top would be rather blissful

Note to self: bake an apple pie, buy LOTS of different ice creams to try with it! Diet in new year...

Yes. Let us eat, drink, and be merry - for tomorrow we diet!

I thought you meant cheesecake.
Hmm... that might not a bad combination either...

I can't remember what brand it was, but I have had strawberry cheesecake ice cream before.

Baskin-Robbins carried it in the late 90's (don't know about now - haven't been since... the late 90's). Dairy Queen does a Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard as well.

The only Egg-Nog recipe that you need.  Just don't be a whimp and cook it to make it custard nog.
