problems with playing some FLV videos locally
« on: October 17, 2008, 07:29 AM »
Hey folks,

I have problems playing some FLV videos. Zoom Player just crashes. It's not randomly, it's happening over and over again with the same videos. I tried to use the VLC media player as an alternative, but that one doesn't allow me to skip forward (it just stops to play then) and it's far behind Zoom Player in regard to controlling it with the keyboard only.

Any ideas?

KMPlayer ( http://www.kmplayer....howthread.php?t=4094 ) seems to be able to handle just about anything I've ever thrown at it.

Skipping forward seems to be a general problem with certain FLV files; and doesn't seem to have anything to do with what player you use. Anybody know for sure why that problem sometimes occurs?
