Is Liuxz Sync Now! Beyond Sync?

(1/1)

Curt:
I am not fully inclined to trust this company, because of their tactics at GAOTD 'today' - they offer their $30 Standard version, but the praise is all taken from the $50 Pro version:

Features:

    * Never lose your emails, photos, MP3s, documents, etc. Sync Now! combines bulletproof reliability with an extremely easy to use interface to compare, synchronize, and backup your emails, contacts, photos, iTunes, MP3s, and other important files to local directory/USB disk/Network drive/laptops…etc
    * Sync your files in Realtime! The realtime sync is a newly designed feature in Sync Now! It’s fast and very reliable. Your can see your files are being synced as soon as you save them!
    * Make sure your files were synchronized 100% successfully by our unique Byte to byte verification
    * Automation. Sync Now! has an easy to use build-in scheduler. You set it and forget it, just focus on your own jobs. Your financial documents, work files, emails, contacts, photos, MP3s, and other data will be synchronized and backed-up automatically. You can also use your favorite scheduler to automate the sync.
    * Intuitive side by side folder comparison.

--- End quote ---

In reality:

NO real-time synch
NO task-planner
NO improved copy-algorithm for big files
NO run as service
Only a limited number of files (10.000) can be synchronized

On top of this, their site and screenshots are almost identical to those of BeyondSync !??
- with Sync Now! as the assumed top of the line, as it is priced much higher.

Suddenly I am not too sure what to think of BeyondSync.  :-\

J-Mac:

Curt:
At least the guy has a sense of humour, creating 'Lewis' from 'Liuxz' (or Liuxz from Lewis?)
- Chinese humour, I guess...  :-\
